How long have you spent trying to get signup/invite to a torrent site?

Few days,a few weeks,a couple of months,over 6 months,over a year,i've given up.

I've been trying to get on Oink since I first heard about it. I finally got on it toward the beginning but I got kicked because I never used it. It was actually only a month when I went back and my account was gone. I had uploaded quite a bit too.

I've had been trying to register on the site demonoid.com before... it's not like I'd been bother to check everyday but there was one day when the registration was open and I wasn't bother to sign up... now i need it /sigh...

Then find out they can't re-join.Not sure if all torrent sites do this,but i've heard alot do.

Some top sites don't count because although i would be glad to have them i'm not really after them because i know i wouldn't have a chance yet :P

I got invite code for demonoid first day I ever tried to sign up for private tracker.
TL invite was gained just one day after demonoid. Few more invites (Oink, TD, Btmusic...) was collected during next 2 weeks... :D
I hadn't big problems to get those invites, I gues I was lucky.
But now I'm trying to get FTN and SCT for about 2 weeks with no luck, but got few other great invites.... ;)

Going on my first month, now that I am back in the action and DL'ing again. When I left you could find everything in the public space and the signup thing is new to me. I am not sure what the good ones are versus bad as long as they are private, well maintained, and you can get what you need.

I am fairly new to this but managed to sign up to Filelist the other day on a free signup day. There doesn't seem to be as much on there though compared to public sites. Not sure what the difference between the two is apart from people saying there is more chance of getting caught on public sites. I have been happy with them so far though.:)

Tell you the truth i wasnt too impressed with oink at first either but i have changed my mind.The only reason i did is because the quality of music as in kbps .Every other site usually has 192 and under i love grabbing the 320s from oink its so much better.

oink has all the music you want , only the best quality (no, scene is not the best quality), a request section is open for all . and everyone wishes to upload.
moreover, it has all the appz you want. and also audio books , ebooks and so on. and a great community.

I find it doesnt have the music i seem to want all the time and it is almost impossible to keep a good ratio unless you download popular stuff you dont want just so you can seed it to keep a good ratio. I just use public sites most of the time now.

Agreed it is very hard to keep up a good ratio. There is just to many people that upload which I think that is ruining it. If they just had a set of uploaders it might be better but I would never go back ive been at better sites IMO.

BitMeTv is already well seeded and has almost everything on it TV wise. Infact there has only been 2 searches i have done which have comeback with nothing on BitMeTv
