other than that it seems to be fairly good. me, i'm doing the conroe (as of now, subject to change) too, but am waiting for the rd600 to release and i'll go from there. i mite bump up to the e6700 though. meh, i've got $200 lying around. what vid crd u gonna be running?

6600gt is my vid card (bottleneck lol), and what is the rd600? Is the e6700 the 2.6 ghz cpu? I chose my e6600 mainly becase of the increased l2 cache. Btw if you have extra money and are planing an SLI setup look at the 720w OCZ psu (if u dont already have a psu). I'm waiting till Christmas (yay Christmas) till I can hopefully get my new fuckn vid card.

Will you really need a kilowatt? What mobo are you looking to get, i hear Intel is comming out with a new one for the 775 socket.

I'm thinking about getting two of these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231063).

So you think they will come out with BIOS updates for all the 945? I thought that it had to be 965 or some 975...but its as simple as a BIOS flash?

core 2 duo should work in any 945/955/975 chipset motherboard. prob needing a bios flash to perfect.
