Hi, I'm quite new to the torrent scence and particulary interested in e-learning stuff. I'm a member of Elbitz.com and I heard that Leanrbits offers quite impressive collections also. Are there other sites that come close to the two? Thanks :)

Considering the contents, Bitme is the top
My prefernce goes like this.
1.Bitme.org
2.Bitspyder.net
3.docs.torrents.com
4.Learnbits.org

To be honest, Bitspyder is my favourite e-learning tracker atm, just coz of their policy and the way they handle everything. They donot allow any craps that you can find in all similar trackers. They only handle e-learning stuffs and nothing else. Considering contents and activity, they are next to Bitme atm.

Learnbits is continuosly getting hacked. they lost all the torrents atm. Some one deleted all their torrents TWICE this week !!! Thas horrible. Please, if someone finds him.. KILL EM !!!!

You can also find many stuffs at demonoid too. but speed sucks sometime.

Man, you guys talk up bitme.org, and I find out I can't get into that one either. I need to get on the bandwagon for some of these bittorrents before they close off...i'm getting $crewed.

Thanks for this list. It's difficult sometimes to figure out what's available at a site until I've signed up. I belong to several mostly movie sites that I never use. Just signed up for bitspyder after reading about it here.
Of the elearning sites I belong to, I'd put demonoid above learnbits. The order may depend on what kinds of info you're interested in. So far, demonoid has almost as many learning torrents as bitme including all of the ttc catalogue. Plus I love audio books.
Bitme is down right now and I hope that it hasn't gotten trashed like learnbits.

sometimes you can just use google to search just by adding the word torrent to
what ever your looking for.

Though I'm not a member of either BitMe or Learnbits, I have seen a good share of there collection so hopefully that gives my list a little bit of credit. The list goes from top to bottom, though to be honest, you really can't go wrong with any.

BitMe
Bitspyder
Learnbits
Elbitz
Demonoid
Gfxnews

The rest are self-explanatory but yes, Demonoid is in there. Easy to get an account and rather easy to seed with so many torrents for the grab. Though downloads not nearly as fast as the others, you can't go wrong with such a large database of both old and new.

BitMe is the best containing more than 9000 torrents! Bitspyder is quite new but it'a a very goo0d tracker!

It's a matter of being a productive, insightful poster on these forums and then politely asking for one in the invite forum. Also, I would suggest finding some sites that have open sign-ups and getting a good ratio there. That shows responsibility and reliability if someone is going to give you an invite.

BitMe and Elbitz are both great with a slight edge to BitMe.
I'm not familiar with other sites, so it's possible there are other great E-learning sites.
