Hmm, here's a summary that I can remember right now in my state :P

Father-in-law died unexpectedly, fired because of taking bereavement leave- no severance, EI calim takes 1.5 months, ESB complaint (part one) filed, medical benefits all buggered up from government tape and perscriptions need refilling, rent goes up to a price that's not affordable, lectures from my dad about keeping in touch with familyu even though he hasn't actually spoken to me in years (last five years never happened, eh?), exboss doesn't see she did anything wrong and proceeds to repeat herself multiple times (ESB part 2), 8 year relationship falls apart and we're splitting at the end of September (lease runs out), government decides that I'm not allowed on EI because I'm taking university courses, exboss forces ESB complaint to governmental mediation, I haven't eaten anything but crackers and plain rice for the past month, I'm out of pot and dangerously short on booze.

Sounds like you and I MN are having a similarly lovely time of it.....people keep telling me things will get better....still waiting

(although got a job now (3 months only) after 5 months on the dole, and the house is under offer now, and my dad is getting better after his stroke last week....but I daren't hope it will work out in the end....holding my breath but feeling a bit faint)

Good luck MN, btw, I find that pot is preferable for the chillin' and that alcohol is better for the blubbin'.
