2ms response time good enough for you?

I've no personal experience of them, but the technology is supposed to be good.

Max brightness and contrast seem to be down a little compared to other monitors of a similar price, but I've never had a problem with older monitors which have slightly lower specifications.

I have the Viewsonic VX924, that's the 4ms model. No motion blur whatsoever. That's a lie, there's motion blur when I have a completely black screen and I wave the mouse pointer really quickly.

I find with slower screens you tend to get used to the blur anyway, you don't notice it after a while.

The Viewsonic has pretty good interpolation too. I have a shitty graphics card so I tend to play games at 1024x768, and it still looks fairly sharp, sharper than my not-so-old-fairly-high-end CRT. It's not so bad running at 800x600 either.

i like it, but motion blurr, isnt THAT noticible in even 6ms so go with a higher response and bigger screen, the bigger screen will be nice, widescreen would be nice for that gaming and dvd playing

Ok Global but dont you need a very good Graphics card to handle Widescreen resolution, i'm only getting a X1900GT , will it handle it?

If you only lived where i did....at some pc shop they are doing this TFT clearance sale....i had already bought a TFT then they decided to do the clearance. Anyway some top monitors that were worth £320 on ebay he was selling for £230-£250. I'm a regular customer of his and he said that he will be setting up an internet site so you can order the goods directly off him. Now im not sure if they ship out of U.K though.

Response time is comparaively high (but still pretty good) at 8ms, and being widescreen the equivalent standard aspect is only 18.2". If you are happy with that then the price is certainly right.

I would go for a 7900gt in place of that x1900gt, for the same price you get a faster card, more pixel pipelines and depending on the card, a free hitman blood money game.
