Don't know what happened both the dvd and the virtual one disappeared,
the dvd is detected inn the bios but when windows starts it does not appear.

anyone has an idea why and how to fix it?
Thanks for any help.
My suggestion would be to uninstall the software for the virtual drive, then delete the drive from device manager.
After a reboot I suspect your dvd drive will re-appear. Then you can re-install your virtual drive. If the same problem recurs use different virtual drive software.

Forget DVD ROM just vanishing my new 250GB HDD just dissapeared. I tried to reset my pc and see if problems still occured but my HDD is not there.:( Any help??
If it helps all i can say before it vanished is that at the bottom a small exclamation mark come in a yellow triangle saying write to F drive failed or was delayed or something like that.
Have a look in event log to see what the actual error says.
Try unplugging the drive, reboot & remove it from device manager (you will need to select view/show hidden devices), then plug the drive back in and reboot again.
Depending on the error it could be faulty hardware (drive or motherboard) or a faulty driver.
Next time, please start your own thread.
Edit: nevermind, I just noticed that you did.
