The same color on two monitors?

I have a dual monitor set-up for my video editing, a Viewsonic as my Primary and a Samsung as my secondary...Everything seems to work fine except for the fact that the colour seems different on the two, which is a bit annoying. Is there away to get the colour on the secondary to match that of the primary? The actual settings on the montior don't make much of a difference.

Also, I got new drivers with Nwiz...Can I use this for anything beneficial besides the basic display setup?

But I will ask one question that may make a difference. Are you using 1 AGP plug and 1 DVI plug? I have 2 identical Dell LCD's with that confoguration and they slightly different color resolutions.

Nope, two DVIs.

The primary monitor's colours seem more vibrant and warmer while the secondary seems paler.

You need to calibrate your monitors, Adobe Gamma may be good enough for your purpose, it depends how accurate you want it to be. If you want better color matching then you need to shop around for better software than Adobe Gamma.

In theory you should then apply a common colour profile to each port, but I suspect that only specialist software which needs to match scanner, monitor and printer will use it. Games probably won't.

If you don't need to match the colours to printers and scanners then you can just do the calibration bit.
