Diskeeper is my fav .
mine too
I have only tried Perfect Disk, Windows Defrag and O&Odefrag.
I prefer O&ODefrag for its simplicity and possibilities.
Can't say whether it is better than any of the others.

Power Defragmenter followed up by Page Defrag. Nothing better & faster. And both are free. :)

Hmmm...how do tell if one defrag app is better than another?
I've tried all of the above with the exception of zap's recommendation and liked them all.
I guess my fave would be O&O because I could simultaneously run it on all three drives.
Currently using a trial of Perfect Disk which seems alright as well.
My data and Program Files drives never seem to get very fragged and my C: drive is an iRAM which I'm not sure any defrag app really knows what to do with.

I'v tryed all in this thread and few I had never heard of, till I D/L PowerMix Boot cd . The Winiternals Power Defrag is fast but can't read what its doing and no options I could really see .
Diskeeper has so many tools and options to choose from ,guess that's why I like it .
PowerMix is here for those that want to try it . 6 Defrager 's to choose from .

The reason i killed Perfect Disk is because it needs a service to be running fulltime in background, O&O's can be set manually.

Could you put all the letters in your words please? It's difficult to read when you txt-type.
Oh yeah.

I use O & O Defrag becuase of the fact that there are so many different methods of Defragging, and I am a person that manually does it so for DiskKeeper I don't really need it as the big feature is the auto defrag option or forget what it is called....

I love diskeepers set & forget function, you never have to mess with defragging again.

It has to be Diskeeper.
It's fast, has lot's of options, you can set it and forget it, it can defrag while emule is working without giving errors, etc...5*

I know I'v already voted for Diskeeper but your post reminded me of friends computers that have problems . You know you ask them when did you defag last ? They go Pardon what ? You check the built in Windows defrag log and see it was 456 days ago . :frusty:
In goes Diskeeper , set to Screen saver mode problem solved . My mum-inlaw thinks its called Defagger . Did n't have the heart to correct her . :whistling

I've tried a number of the programs listed in the poll, and settled on Diskeeper 10 Pro. I've got it set to defrag while the screen saver is active. works great and I never even have to run it manually.
