Yup TeraNews offer unlimited posting even with free accounts but you still need to pay $3.95 setup fee and you have the account for 6 months (unlimited posting with 50MB/day download limit)

I just used my isps one in the end. I uploaded stuff to a few of the free ones but most kept failing half way through a file leaving it incomplete.
Im just hoping it propogates.

Where does it add your IP address and what program are you using to upload?
I don't think I've ever seen a post on Usenet with an IP address in it. I use Powerpost to upload.

I was thinking the same thing.
And either way, what about an anon proxy or VPN?

Ip address probably wasnt the right word. but included in the headers is something like
[email protected]
with this the newshost provider can easily track who uploaded what. with pay services normally the logs are destroyed the same day so any threatening letter sent will be useless since the logs are gone. The problem is if i use my isp they do log stuff for longer and the chances are they may actually grass me up.
cant use an anon proxy since i need my ip adress to be able to connect to my isp's servers.
