Hi, I have a huge problem. Some days ago when I was about to log onto filelist.org, it said my pw was wrong. So I tried to recover it with the link on the site. A few days have gone now, still no mail :(
So, does anyone know how to come in contact with anyone from the staff?
plxplx ^^

sure, its quizterr or quizter - one or 2 r's :)
edit: Just try to get them to send a recovery-mail by hand to the registered email address. Would be awesome :)

This is what I got back
"whats it say when he/she tries to recover is password ....
that the email been sent
or No email found in database
Also nothing i can unless he as a link to his/her profile or his ID number as i don't have accesss to the user database"
EDIT also, are you using hotmail? you have to change junkmail settings for the confirmation to come through

It says:
"Success
A confirmation email has been mailed to
[email protected]. Please allow a few minutes for the mail to arrive."
Im using netscape as you see, and I have been through all folders but found nothing, but I'll try change some settings, it might help. I should be able to get my user ID from school tomorrow.
Thanks again BTMach, really appreciate (correct spelling ftw!) it :D
And im very sure that my nick is/was quizterr, 2 r's.
Edit: Turned all spam filters off and tried again. Hopefully I'll have a recoverymail witing for me in the morning. Good Night all

I mailed FL w/ your reply.
Awaiting a responce and possibly your user id...
:)
EDIT he said "hmm i would try a different email address if is already tryed that 1 and its not come it will never come ....
.. don't really matter about the id , just tell him to try another addy"
doesn't seem like a whole lot of help, sorry...

Sry for the tripplepost but i have some news:
I'm screwed hehe. I talked to an op at their irc-channel and it seems like my account was deleted. Inacticity he said, strange I say. Anyways, guess I'll have to get a new account and start over :)
Thanks btw, for your help.
not that it helps seeing as ur accounts gone, but filelist have a screwed password recovery.
its been like that for a longgggggggggggggg time. a quick search of the forums here would find pages of threads with ppl having trouble resetting their pass on filelist.
