okay..im a complete noob when it comes to isos and all that junk.. so can anyone please help... i downloaded call of duty 2 from utorrent.. its a .iso file.. i downloaded it and installed it.. but when i go to run it.. it says please insert correct cd/dvd rom.. and i have absolutely no idea.. i have daemon tools, and alcohol120% and no idea what to do someone please help

You don't install / run an iso. It's an image file. You need to create a dvd / cd from it.

no.. i mount it using daemon tools to one of my drives on my computer.. and when i click on the drive it starts up.. you have selections: play single player, mulitplayer.. i click play single player.. and it says please insert correct cd/dvd rom click ok and restart applicaiton

Burn the image and create a CD. Alcohol will do that for you.

Then you will have a CD of the game.

Install that and try to play it, leaving the CD in.

If that won't work then, as Dan says you need a "no cd" crack.

You don't need to burn it, just use the no-cd crack (which is usually already included in the iso, most likely in a folder named "crack")

Should say it in the filename or in the .nfo. When you have found this just google call of duty 2 xxxxx no dvd crack. replace xxxxx with the release group's name though.

ffs, when you've got it mounted with daemon tools, right click on the drive, then explore. have a look to see if there's a folder in there called crack or something similar. if there is, copy the .exe across from there to the game directory.

If this is a ISO file and if you use deamon tools and installed the game it should work fine without any crack. I don't download games too often but I think that is the ways it goes.

For The ISOs there is ofcource a crack you must copy/paste to game folder .
Iso Images won't work on DaemonTools

What you can do is just burn the .iso with a burning program as image file and then when you start the game and it asks for the cd/dvd rom just insert the cd/dvd and it should boot up fine.

But the easier way would be to copy the crack.exe from the crack folder located on the cd and paste in the directory were your call of duty folder is located on your C:/uername/programfiles drive and it should ask if you want to overide *** file and just choose yes and it no longer should ask for a cd/dvd when its started up.
