a painter/decorator :yup:

After my last brilliant feat in the livingroom. I think I'd be great.

And I'd make a lot of money playing around with some paint.

He's in a funny mood ( literally, he's being ha ha funny) and is not taking me seriously.

Also, he's started to refer to you as 'my boyfriend from Croy'

You brought it up. You explain it *insert smiley looking moody with crossed arms*

Get on and do it girl! I've a friend that did the same and she's never out of work. She says her clients always comment on the fact that women are quicker and tidier than blokes. Plus they are more intuitive about being on somebody elses space.

I'm a girl, you fucking twat:dry:
Now get out of my thread unless you learn how to spell.

Funny, all these years I've been trying to figure out what I wanted to do and more or less considered every single uni course available.
Never even thought about learning a trade:blink:

It only makes sense as I quite like painting.

A painter with a minor in spackle could go a long way in this world...

If you like painting, more power to you.
personally I hate it
I won't ever work as a concrete worker, roofer, drywaller, or painter. most anything else in the trades is fine.

And if you can't get on an actual crew, you can always make your own "overalls-only" one. :naughty:

T'is hard work, you should take time to learn marbling and graining at a college,go for it.

Skweeky
09-13-2006, 09:29 AM
I know, but I like hard work better than sitting at a desk all day long.

I'm going to have a look at the local college later on in the day me thinks. It's too late now to sign up for it and I can't really afford it just now. But I might just go for it next year :D

Go for the "specialty finishes" trade.
Faux finishes like marbling, graining, stippling, etc.

The projects are typically smaller in scope but the pay is higher.
