One of the best seeded tracker. but tough to maintain a good ratio if you dont have much to upload ;)

Oink is the best music trackerout there it has anything you could ever want and if that's not there then you can request it and your fellow members will be happy to help you out :) but you need to upload your own music onto it as it is one of the hardest trackers to keep a good ratio on. but if you have lots of cd's shouldn't be a prob.

"You must be a member at FST for 1 month and have at least 5 post to be able to read threads or post in the BitTorrent Invites Section. Its little to ask those that join make a contribution to the board prior to invite access. This also lets new members get familiar with the site and the members first. After 30 days and your 5th post it may take up to one hour for your status to update...

Do not send Private Messages (PM) asking for invites.
(Note there is a pinned thread in the invites section tracking those that do.)
If you spam your 5 posts your account will be disabled.

Thanks."

Oink.me.uk is proabably the best site for downloading music. They have had almost everything I have looked for, with the exception of a few electronica albums, and 1 or 2 hardcore/metal albums. The nice thing is that you can request things, and people will often upload them if they see a request. You do not HAVE to upload your own music, but it can be very hard to keep up your ratio if you do not. They also have e-learning books, e-learning videos, software for mac and pc, and audio books.

Oink is a friendly place, with some of the best mods, and a wide & varied selection of music.

You need to download at least 5 gigs of music, and then if your ratio is below a certain threshold then you will be placed on 'ratio watch' to give you time to get your ratio sorted, it's hardly difficult!

Ratio is quite simply the amount you've uploaded divided by the amount you downloaded.

The ratio you must maintain varies depending on how much you've downloaded.

New users normally first experience the ratio requirements when they have both:

* downloaded 5.00 GB or more and
* been a member 14 days or longer.

Once the 25.00 GB downloaded level is reached there are no delays or grace periods.

So yes, if you hit 25GB downloaded on your first day here, you're immediately subject to the minimum ratio requirements.

The Ratio Watch system is completely automatic and cannot be altered by staff.

Seed back what you take. If the stuff you are seeding isn't popular jump on one that is.

These rules that Oink have are pretty soft compared to some sites, personally I would toughin them up! :P But people who say it's hard to keep a good ratio? Just bewilders me.

The trick is not to be greedy, and snatch everything in sight as soon as you get in. IMHO.
