I made a deal that this weekend
I would be free, as of 5pm today, to get back to my work.
Next thing i know i am canceling appointments
because i have to grind down the floor and oil
it is not a small project....

unfair

should i be angry, depressed or make the best of it

She is well aware, but since friends are coming to visit priorities become priorities such as her 2 week trip to japan and her girlfriend weekend at some cottage...

A bit selfish agreed. Is she rebelling against being a mum do you think? A lot of women go through phases like that, especially after the birth of a first-born (don't know how many you have). I also get the impression that whist your work is important to you, she maybe doesn't see it as a real job, a problem common in the spouses of artists/those who work from home.
