windows xp pro help compaq presario 2500

I want to reinstall windows xp pro or home version on this laptop. Does anyone have the complete set of drivers for it or will windows pick everything up for me. I dont want to reformat and reload unless i am sure. If not will windows tell me which driver i need to install. Thanks guys for any help you may give me.

Drivers are easy to find on the net , wouldn't worry about that . You ''ll loose all your proprietary software tho . Which is a good thing !
