The existence of that skirt is purely theoretical. I'm not convinced it's really there. It serves no practical purpose. She's flying around bottomless, and they just don't want to show it on panel.

Either that, or she has some kind of Kryptonian gizmo that keeps her from showing her secret (ahem) identity to the entire world, as she flies overhead.

I REALLY REALLY don't like it when people bad-mouth the new Supergirl. It makes my blood boil. It almost feels like bullying to me. I hate that in all forms. Even if it is about a fictional characeter.

One of the words I've heard in conjuction with post-Crisis Kara Zor-El is "anorexic".

That isn't just mean, it's downright sickening. Even saying that "the artist draws her anorexic" is like saying "the artist draws her AIDS-ridden".

Anorexia is NOT something you joke about, or bandy about lightly as some negative comment. Anorexia is a disease that can kill people. People who have it CANNOT help themselves, like with any other disease. And it can happen to anyone. I knew someone who had it, and she was the last person I expected to get it.

Calling Supergirl anorexic reeks of ignorance to the real people who suffer from it, and I say that any who bandy about that term in a non-serious way is deningrating the people who actually suffer from the disease. And I cannot consider those people feminist.

Sorry if I offend. I HAD to get this off my chest.
