Television not detected

Hi,
For some reason, my television is no longer detected by my graphic card.
I have tried a new cable and new drivers with no success.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

What card? And how is it hooked up? (svideo probably)

Hi,

Can you remember what were you doing when the problem occured?

Did something in in your setup change?

for instance a new TV, new windows install, new computer, no longer using the monitor , new drivers etc etc

Do you have an ati or nvidia card? :)

Do you see an image on tv when computer/windows is booting ?

did you try force tv detection in the driver setings ?

Try downgrading your graphic drivers a few notches, Some people report that tv out does not work anymore with the newest drivers.

try the program tvtool and it's settings if you have nvidia gfx card.

I am sure you did this but still.... connect the tv before booting and turn the tv on.

Yeh have tried them all but thanks anyway :(
its an ati 9800 pro, nothing appears on tv at any point anymore
