Totally. It's divided into black and white squares. Chess is going to be pretty tricky if they take that away :ermm:

My money is on whoever is playing with the black pieces.

As Wesley Snipes said " Always bet on black"

I lost interest when Kasparov and Short looked for a new sponser. I frown on Kramnik for avoiding Kasparov for too long and FIDE is just simply corrupted to the core. The title claims have become like boxing.

Topalov is suggesting that Kramnik is cheating and threatens to quit the WC!!

read the story here

It's all part of the psychological warfare but still 50 times average using the bathroom is a lot!

after 4 games it is 3-1 for Kramnik

Yeah , I mostly agree with you, but I like these matches more than for instance the sudden death knockout system used by FIDE to determine the World champ.. call me oldfashioned but the standard of games seem to be higher that way

I also think that draws should be ignored in these matches like fischer said

Kramnik refused to play today because what Topalov's team mentioned in the press earlier.. see above

this is getting really funny

Topalov's team accuses Kramnik's team to cheat and doing so in his privat toilet(only room without camera's) . Now Kramnik's team says Topalov's team is planning to install some sort of an electronic device in Kramnik's toilet so there will be evidence to backup their story. they demand no team member of Topalov may enter the toilet of kramnik without a FIDE official to keep an eye out.

There is a big (Fischer - Spasski-esk) psychological warfare going on

These are tho moments a just love chess and maybe eventually I am going to love soaps operah's

4:3 for Kramnik

as allways check www.chessbase.com for more details.

1. After each move Mr. Kramnik immediately heads to the rest room and from it directly to the bathroom. During every game he visited the relaxation room 25 times at the average and the bathroom more than 50 times – the bathroom is the only place without video surveillance. :pinch: :pinch:

yes i follow it up a bit, since i heard about the toilet incident in 'Holland Sport' on dutch television. this one goes in the good tradition as it was when karpov and Kasparov were playing eachother and had their own 'cold war'. :)
Always love to play chess, but unfortunately have a lack of time :(

Kramnik won yesterday after Topalov's horrible game losing f6 move. Kramnik in his turn lost quickly the game before that.

Kramnik is the moral winner of the match. allmost every GM in the world does not like the ''dirty tricks'' of Topalov's team. And topalov got an extra point because Kramnik did not show up in round three for the reason mentioned earlier.

Score is now 5:5 with two more games to be played

this is getting more exciting

5.5 / 5.5 after a fighting draw

one more game to go and after that playoffs

and after that the sueing wil start. Kramnik and Topalov both threaten to sue FIDE if things don't go their way.. Topalov has the most chance according laywers
