I'm at work and haven't been able to download a sec of this yet. This file is less than 12 hours old, and has been verified as authentic by several people whom I have spoken to.

I have no hash info yet (someone please post once you have it!) but the movie is a 900+ meg avi file. Someone reported to me that the actual file size is 971,599kb, but that hasn't been confirmed yet! *UPDATE! The 971,599kb file is not Authentic, it is Fifa 2003.

It is a 900+ MB Divx AVI played and verified for authenticity. Most people are downloading "spoofs" that are actually Sweet Home Alabama or something - but a real one does exist, and it is spreading like wildfire. Oh yeah, and there's an X-Men: United DVD of excellent quality shipping from Hong Kong as well.

The point of all of this was to just acknowledge that the excitement over new measures to make sure films stay in theaters aren't working. Something has to be done about this, and this apparently isn't going to do the trick.

vcdquality only posts what information different groups give to them. This was most likely an inside, or an independant job.

nothing i have never used avi preview but it says "file does not begin with the riff or mpeg header"

Then try opening it with Power DVD and WP and all the others applications :lol: ;)

If it was a independant release... do you really think they would have the means and desire to release it themselves? No... the first thing they would do, is take it to a group, ie, to help get membership, exclusives, etc... not many individuals are willing to take that kind of liability we are talking about here...

a 900+meg avi file as a first release? that makes no sense at all... 1, it wont fit on one cd... two, at that strange of size, it would be at least spread out as 450+ on two cds/files... maybe you dont get how the "scene" works....

I agree that the 900+ meg size is odd, but that only supports my theory that it was released by an idividual, not a group.

I never swore on my moms grave that I pointed to the right file, go look at my 1st post. I don&#39;t even know if it&#39;s on Kazaa yet, but my resources here are very limited, and I&#39;m doing what I can to find the truth.

I can nearly guarentee that it&#39;s leaked though. I remeber dealing with a&#036;&#036;holes like you when I 1st reported the SW epII very early on, but I was on target then.

It&#39;s released only on the 15th of May 11.59pm here in Australia, aka the first screening of MR in cinemas.
I suggest you guys stop trying to find a copy off kazaa or any other &#39;reliable&#39; sources until after the show actually has been released in your country. And after all, even if you weren&#39;t particularly against piracy, watching it in the cinema on a widescreen stretching the entire face of a wall would be a much enjoyable experience watching MR, or any other show for that matter.

Watched X-Men 2 on the cinemas and didn&#39;t regret it coz I watched a pirated copy of the show after and couldn&#39;t even decipher half what I was looking at or listening to. ;)

avipreview doesn&#39;t work :rename the .dat-file to avi and open it with G-spot
this will at least give info about the used codec (if it&#39;s an old or unusual codec you
can bet it&#39;s a fake&#33;&#33;) B)
