Sharing Movies With A Friend

Hi all, me and my friend want to start sharing files between our computers, we have tried irc but cant seem to do it on there, does any 1 know any programmes or ways to send large files (1GB) to your friends computer?? cheers

you could try burning it to a CD (if you live near each other). easier than a network or anything.

If one of you has Bulletproof FTP Server (http://www.bpftpserver.com/), the other one can use any FTP client to transfer files back and forth between the two of you.

bpftp serv is really good, get the cracked vers off kazaa (vers 2.21) it also depends on your connection and if your on a firewall(router)

Oops. I directed you to the wrong program. Bulletproof might be good, but I've never tried it. The one I use is GuildFTPd (http://www.guildftpd.com/). That one's freeware, and it's easy to use.
