i have downloaded some games and extracted them only to find that although i have image files i have no dvd file so i am unable to burn the files onto a disc, is there a programme i can use to get a dvd file from the image file :(

you burn the images to a dvd using a burning program. They are probably in iso or img format, right?

Alcohol 120% can either burn an image file, or allow you to mount it on a virtual drive.
There is also Daemon Tools which does the same thing.

i use clonecd to burn files but normally when i d/l i have a dvd file and an image file,i click on the dvd file and clonecd opens and burns the image file, on these files however i only have the image file, how do i burn them to a dvd??

load the image file manuelly.

I wonder if this is supposed to be run off of your computer instead of being burned to a cd/dvd.
Since I've never used this file type and can't find anything on it's format online at all, maybe changing it to ISO and looking at the contents might help.
