How much would it run me? My dad bought this 700$ toshiba one and I love it. Wireless internet, clear lcd screen. Portable, convienent.

it all depends on what games you are looking to play, what graphics levels you want to run, how big of a screen you want, how much you are willing to have weigh, how much harddrive space you are looking for, ect.

You'd have to spend at least $1500 CAD for a decent gaming laptop.:yup:

Yeah i saw laptop with x600 video card with dedicated 128MB memory, it cost about 1070 USDs.

I wouldnt touch a dell with a 10 foot pole. Mabye a 140-200gb HD, screen dosnt matter..Ide want to play BF2 on high settings.

What's wrong with Dells? They fixed the battery problem and the problem was clearly Sony's fault. Besides, from what I looked at; Alienware is way overpriced, HP and gateway don't have 7900GS for their laptops and Dell seemed to have the best price with discount.

see now a crappy x600 with 128vram costs $1070, so if you want something decent to run ut2k7 or other such games you need a at the very least a x1600 or above, with 1-2gb ram and >120gb harddrive, which is going to cost around $1500 if you can find a good deal.
