since running remote assiatance my keyboard is by default typing in the 'extra' keys.

ie - m is 0
l is 3

i have 2 hold fn down to change it

and it's rather f4c25ng ann6y5ng!!!

your numlock is probably on, on my acer it is fn and f11.

Or if it has a special driver for the f stuff, could be a fucked up driver.

Oh its definatley F-Lock that special annoying button to the left of ctrl on the bottom left, hold that one and hit the F-* key that says f lock. My laptop has that
