yes xp pro is best although i have 2 pc's 1 with xp pro and 1 with xp home and theres not really much difference theyre both really good

All my Macintosh buddies says windows sucks - i love their OSX+Jaguar
Windows 98 was super fast
Windows XP Pro works perfectly although i would remove alot of the gloss through tweak xp.com
I dont know what the differences are between home and pro - check it through reviews

Pro just has more networking power and capability. Home if you're on a budget, otherwise I'd spring the extra cash for pro, or just download corp :P.
