Is it possible for someone to have their body regulate a higher temperature. like is there a disease or infection that can cause that, im not talking about fever, im talking about like not being 98.6 but always being like 110 or 105
please help, and if there are links let me know

Whoa dude, 110 is VERY hot, I think it would kill most people to be that hot all the time.

exactly, but what if there was somekind of chemical that could cause that to occur, it would be considered a weapon of massdestruction...what would cause it though

I don't understand the question, but I'm sure it's easier if you save yourself the research and use anthrax.

My mom's normal body temp is below the normal temperature- it's somewhere around 97 degrees- does that help? and as far as I know it isn't caused by any disease. I've never heard of anyone having a normal body temperature above 98.6 though

okay, how do i explain this...the body temp, when exposed to this chemical or substance or whatever it may be, causes your body to regulate at a higher body temperature...therefore you would overheat and basically die...

well, i guess it could be, i know ecstacy does in fact make your body temperature higher, and there have been deaths from that...but what else...

I'm worried that a biology teacher only knows as much as their student.

Bring back English coursework.

Amitriptyline HCl administered with anticholinergic agents or with neuroleptic drugs can lead to hyperpyrexia. Not sure how you would deliver them tho'

Does it not depend where you take the bodies temperature ? So if you shove a an anal temp up your ass take temp. ,then insert in your mouth one would think you get different temps. ? Sorry I'm not trying it mabye Seedler could try and post back ?
