Internet Explorer Starts up Offline

Hey, recently whenever try log into windows live messenger it says internet explorer is offline, i check it and its treue, whever i load up my computer instead of tryng to connect automatically. This is REALLY irritating, can anyone help me try fix it?

Its a long hassle to keep connecting.

go to tools /internet options/connections
