and to download, and install it and stuff...

its fake, right?

how does he get rid of it? i suggested he use asquared..but he says its still popping up..

What browser is he using? I am guessing IE?

I would suggest Getting ZoneAlarm Pro, using it to scan for Spywayre, then getting Avira AntiVir and scanning for Virii/Trojans.

Also, if he is using IE, tell him to switch to Opers or FireFox.
