Hi

I want to buy a pocket size external hard disk, about 100GB. I will be storing MP3 and movies on the disk.

I searched on ebay and found 2 sellers selling Hitachi and Toshiba disks. But I am not sure if these are original hard drives:

I really want a RELIABLE external hard drive, which would not mess up my data.

What do u suggest I should get ?

Thanks

I've read good reviews about the Western Digital ones.

Comes in 60, 80, 120, and 160 GB sizes.

You could buy a 2.5 inch external case and insert a 2.5 inch drive.

I am not a very technical person.

If I buy 2.5 inch drive and external case, would I be able to put everything together? What does this mean: 'hard drive in NOT formated'

If you're just going to store MP3s and movies, why not burn them onto DVDs?

It's faster, cheaper, and permanent.

You'll never run of disc, they're lyke, $0.5 when you buy in bulk them DVD-Rs.
