yes, u read this correctly. dmc anime to air sometime in 2007! this is gonna be sweet! not sure on the story or how the anime is drawn, but this will be something "I" keep an eye out for.

dmc anime series is to air in june of 2007. it will include the director of anime series black cat, character design from chobits & gunslinger girl, and the script writer from the anime series DEATH NOTE (which is just a terrific story). as good as this sounds i can't wait to catch this in 2 months!

The first episode will air June 14th, and go in a weekly manner it seems. Only 12 eps tho.

watched the first episode of this and it was ok at best. lots of demons exploding from ebony & ivory, but other than that meh. hopefully this will get better! lol, i'll still watch it even if it sux for i love the dmc games! :)

yeah, i finished this awhile back. starts off really kiddy and wasn't sure if i was gonna enjoy it. as the show progresses it does indeed get a lot better. by the time this short 12 episode anime is over the story had picked up quite a bit and is actually enjoyable. to bad they neutered it and cut it short. :(

They should put more thought into the story of Dante. People who have not played the game won't know anything. They should explain why he is the way he is? The demons who are out to get him etc...

I don't think anything will come up to the style of Berserk.


However, lets not bash devil may cry just yet. Lets give it a chance first.

Personally, I thought this anime sucked. There was no ongoing story. For taking on such a huge and popular franchise, I thought it would be better but instead I get an episodic weaksauce showing of Dante's skills.
