Title says it all:cool: Requirements:

1) Member here for 2 months and at least 25+ posts.
2) Screenshot of 3 trackers. 2 of these must have at LEAST 30GB uploaded. 2 of them must also be "good" trackers... no demonoids/bitsoups.
3) Screenshot of uTorrent seeding anything at your maximum UPLOAD rate. This is to ensure that you will be able to support a good ratio and to weed out cheaters...

I reserve the right to not give invites to certain members here... you know who you are:dry:

PM me if you wish:D

NOT FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS = I DELETE YOUR PM

The requirements are to weed out dumb ones that will register under the same name:lol: And to make sure they will be good members, of course. :)

Keep in mind that it can be done via IP as well. All it takes is for a mod or SysOp at FTN to get a hold of the IP address of the poster here and it's as easy as that, BAM, you're disabled from the site. :( Reading the FAQ’s and rules on most private sites will reveal that they do watch the forums for people to generously give out invites.

It's a pretty bad deal, but I guess these guys mean business.

I know of 3 sites that monitor these forums as well as sites like Slyck, Zeropaid, Oink P/U forums....FTN, FSC and F***. Probably SCT as well.

Anyone offering invites or accounts here risks having their account disabled. It's as simple as that folks.

You won't find out who the "spy" is as they are probably not active here but will still be watching.

But how they can get our IP's? Hacking F.S.? I don't know your IP and i really don't know how to know it.
I think only if i, you or anyone send an email to one of those pigs and they get the IP of the email.
Other than that, i don't know, what i know is that anyone with good intentions to help, is going to think a lot
before start offering invites here or anywere. And to tell you the truth, i'm really pissed off, because i'm one
of the guys choosed by aburyach to get the invite. :01:
Like we say over here in my country: "don't sing victory before the war is over" :frusty:

of course they have spies around, eveyone should be careful of giving out ftn, dont just give them out on forums. they have a forum topic scanning sites and reporting them. im guessing that they saw him giving out mutiple invites on his account and disabled him or some dumbass registered with the same username from fst. your heart was in the right place and im sorry you lost your account.

that's interesting because the invite section of wild-bytes was fine until i offered to give an account. they must have disabled it. i didn't realize it was such a big deal to give or trade invites. it kind of sucks. but i guess it's needed to be done to protect the site. which also means most ppl like myself don't stand a snowballs chance in hell getting into most of these top quality sites

I did not know they could obtain your IP like that... Not sure how valid that is because several weeks ago I created a thread offering FSC invites for trade- and hey, my account is still there. Anyone care to comment on how IPs are obtained from here?

shosh- that is what's weird- I only had time to send one invite- and after that, DISABLED. the person did not even post here.

maybe they just ask the admins here at FST...

maybe this person was a part of the trick, and right after he got the invite he reported you to FTN`s staff ?

as for ip, the only way to transfer your ip to ftn is by FST mods. i don`t know if they did that, but i think there are mods at FST that have have strong connections to U*** and F*** staff (it seems that one of FST mods is also F*** mod, but not sure for 100%)

Ok, I see. Thanks, jaqozo. I will be more careful next time... which is too bad as I was only trying to help. Oh well, shit happens and we move along.

jaqozo
10-12-2006, 10:13 PM
yep, being careful is a good thing , but the easiness to get your account disabled at private sites is such a bad thing... you may wait 1 year for the invite to the best site, and you may be disabled without warning there in 1 second for nothing

aburyach
10-12-2006, 10:19 PM
True, true. Although I have not waited that long to get into FTN. Only took about 2 weeks and a successful trade:)

aburyach, you only gave out one invite and they disabled you? man they must be good. im guessing maybe it was the timing in which you gave the invite, when they saw that you post this topic on this forum the figured the next guy on FTN who gave a invite out was you. with so little invites given out on the site and such a small userbase this is a total possibility

I remember that a few weeks ago RealitY wrote that they don't give any information 2 any1. & even the new community reps can't see or get any information on users.
I'm sure he's telling the truth.
Edit - I found RealitY's post

well, i also remember a staff member at ftn saying something like, "if they're on fst, then we can get them". not really sure who to believe :ermm:

i see that phooart is one of the main reporters at FTN , his username there is TheUndead

those invites post there are certainly quite a handful to handle, i'll keep my eyes open over there
moreover, he trades invites here as well (the sct example when he was scammed)

though i see that all the traders that were reported got only warning. lol, someone traded his account and they warned him, that`s ridiculous.
it is very strange that aburyach was disabled for offering (not for trading).

and yes , DJCrazyChris (former empornium and now cheggit mod) said on ftn`s forum that if it is at FST, than they will get you.

All the spy has to do is post an image in his post and look at the ip hits on that image, if the ip hits match up to a user that posted here around that time bingo there is your trader. Account Banned.
OR
You traded an invite to a spy and he tracked it back to your account. Acount Banned.

Let's get this straight:

The only way that another site could get hold of IPs or any other hidden user information would be for an FST Admin or Mod to give it to them.
FST personnel do not divulge any user information to other sites except where a global ban is requested for scammers.

That's it. There are no grey areas at all.
Community Reps do not have the ability to see IPs.

Haha they arent "spies". They are just peeps who care about the site and dont want leechers/cheaters to swarm the tracker. Ive reported at least 2-3 peeps giving away invites to sites they shouldnt be trading invites.
Its part of the rules of all these private sites so they know what the score is. I would have reported aburyach except he is banned already :)

the thing is if you can't ask for an invite. or trade one to get into these sites.
this is where i get confused, how the heck do you get in then. will santa bring one or should i start praying to some sort of torrent god. or will they come looking for me and beg me to join. because that's surely hasn't worked for me yet. :frusty:

Well imho if you are active on a torrent site sooner or later you will be recognized by a member who has other connections and then get invited to another torrent site and so on without the need to ever having to trade or beg for an invite at least thats how I became part of the BT community. ;)

Paying your dues earns you credits and gain you respect among all the users it takes time but its worth it imho. :)

i have realized how right you are about this. some of these sites just can't be given away. you must earn the right to be there. mainly for security reasons and second for cheating reasons and etc. having access to most of the elite sites isn't a right it's a privilege. and it must be earned by trust and respect. they don't want their site going to hell because someone decided to give away invites to every jane and john doe. that's why many sites have made the inviter responsible for the invitee which is reasonable. so if you earn these things as mentioned above you will be invited. this should be understandable for everyone once you think about it. if not think of it as wearing a condom when having sex with a prostitute. they wear one would you. so needless to say over time if you have what has been mentioned above you will get in. it takes time be patient. i can and will be. if you can't then don't bother trying. all trackers do their best to get the releases as fast as they can. so the trackers most people have that is private is decent. everyone wants better, or more, or the best it's human nature. or possibly greed. so use your invites wisely. and if you can't even say the name of the tracker be more wiser on what you do with it.well i've rambled on enough :P

aburyach
10-25-2006, 07:31 PM
Well explained pharoh:) I liked your "prostitute--codom" analogy:lol:

I got almost all of my sites through PMs, I suppose thats the best way to be:)
