I was just wondering which BT site has the best pre times. I think supertorrents is always quite quick (eg 5 min usually on TV), but they only upload a few torrents, far away from everything.

What do you think is the fastest site (not only on a few torrents but generally) with the most content?

All the major sites will have all the popular stuff up within 3-4 hours of each other. A few hours of difference should mean nothing to you unless you're completely :wacko:.

What exatly are "pre's"? Are they timed after the show has aired, or after it was uploaded on usenet, or...

the pre-time is the time a file is released (or "pre'd") by a particular group
these groups are part of "the scene (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_scene)"
usually on usenet within a few minutes of being pre'd, or sometimes pretty instantly.
often on a few top torrents sites about the same time

I've heard that ScT is good with the pre's, but I don't have it.

I can say, however, that FTN's pre's are great. They're usually within 15 mins of pretime.

its simply an upto date database, with new releases posted daily.
i usually use vcdq (http://www.vcdquality.com) for movies, as the members there review the quality of each release, usually pretty quickly after its been pre'd

Nforce doesnt even get stuff up to date. Ive seen slow sites have stuff up to 2 days before its shown on nforce.

SCT doesnt own on pre times. Ive seen lots of sites beat SCT daily. SCT just gets alot more 0-day content then most other sites so gets mentioned more often I guess.

95% (If not more)of the people who rate films on VCDQuality are all noobs. They just rate them to rate them. I doubt even 5% of the people who rate their films even have the files nor know where to find them other than public torrent sites which post them days later. Ive often seen votes on files 15secs pre. (The morons couldnt have even dl the files that fast.) VCDQ gets their release updates less frequent than nforce even. I would use nforce before vcdq anyday. Just my opinion.

i dont read the votes on vcdq, only the comments in the forums
the votes are always whack
alot of the regulars give honest accurate opinions
simply download the sample is probably the best bet though
