I'm hittin' Gettyburg, PA for Halloween and don't have a tent yet. I need it for wifey, me, and the youngin'.

I saw a Coleman Sundome (10 x 10)

for $60 (normally $100) but I'm worried about too much cold ass air getting through the rain shield.

I also like the the Columbia Yorktown sleeping bag

It's only rated at 30 degrees but me and wifey will be in it so there's the added body heat factor.

I don't know much about tent ratings but it seems that ventilation (fucking open rain cover on the Coleman) is not what I'm looking for since it's going to be cold out.

I want a (hopefully) lowcost tent that's for the most part closed up.:angry:

I already found a queen air mattress (with pump) for $25.

Presumably the smaller the tent the easier the motherfuckin - less chance of her trying to run away. :ph34r:

No I understand you must have some ventilation or I'd imagine there'd be lots of condensation inside.

However, many of these tents I've seen have the entire top with screened mesh and then you add the rain fly.
