Torchwood does look good the guy who plays captain jack is a good actor, I will watch it.

Enjoyed last nights 2 episodes,swearing,sex and violence what more can one ask for from a sci-fi programme. :)
Good story line as well.
Strange to set it in Cardiff,oh well. :dabs:

Finally got round to watching it. First episode was like Men In Black. Second episode was like Species.

I wonder if they're going to come up with anything original? :blink:

The adult themes were quite refreshing though, as were the little wisecracks.

It's worth watching to see where it takes us. Captain Jack is a good character, I wonder if they'll explain how he got from the year 5000 back to the present day, and into Torchwood? :unsure:

Gripper, now that the first series is finished, what did you think of it? :blink:

I don't think it really lived up to its potential :(

They've commissioned a second series though, so it may get better.

Nice touch at the end though, with the TARDIS sound and Jack disappearing.

They've taken the gayness too far. Lesbian aliens is one thing, gay men in uniform snogging was totally uncalled for :ermm:

They've gone way to far with the gay thing, totally spoilt it for me and I won't bother with the next series.

Just hope the writers of Dr Who don't have him dress up as the sugar plum fairy for the first episode!:noes:
