Ive just downloaded a film in nzb, extracted the files than put the film through nero onto a disc, when i play the dvd in the dvd player the film sometimes comes up in vob,or it would show dvd.
Then sometimes it would say please insert a playable disc, any reason why this is, also just over half way through the film it seems to freeze and would go back to the start.
So i tried to play the dvd through my pc but there seems to be no files there,so i decide to just play the film from the file i downloaded through my pc upto the point where it had frooze on the dvd just to see if there was a file i missed whilst downloading, but it all seems to be fine,it did not freeze it played all the way through.can anyone shed some light as to what coukd be wrong.
Many thanks.

You can't put a avi through dvdshrink, You need a avi to DVD converter software, Check the guides here (http://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?searchtext=&tools=&madeby=&formatconversionselect=AVI+to+DVD&howtoselect=%3B&orderby=Date&listall=1&hits=25&archive=0&search=Search+or+List+Guides)

Yes, But i wouldn't recommend it, Its most likely the problem, Try something else like VSO ConvertXtoDVD, That seems to be widely used and popular.

No, DVDShrink is only used for DVDS, ConvertXtoDVD converts it to DVD and also burns it to DVD For you, Follow this (http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_convertxtodvd_guide.cfm) Guide.

Do you have a DVD recorder Tony? If you do have one it's best to just download the film in DVD already so you don't have to convert the avi file to DVD format.
