I have noticed over time that those that have the fetish for those machines seem to be rather short in height.


Have you ever won shit loads of cash out of those machines?

6'2" and I play them most times I'm in the pub. I think it's a little silly to suggest short people play them because how do they reach the higher buttons or put money in the machine?

Well yeah, if a mate wins the jackpot it is the law that he has to buy the mate who watched him play a pint (usually the watcher-mate will provide helpful tips). Either that or the guy behind is getting excited because the player is losing and the next person to go on will win loads (ie the watcher-shark).

Usually the person stood behind me when I'm on a fruit machine is Crabgirl, she gives me encouraging punches to the kidneys and says helpful things like, "Get the fuck off the machine, bumboy" and "Looks like you won't be able to afford a KFC on the way home."

Im a semi degenerate gambler, but even Im put of by the huge amount the machines take (17% at times) so Ill generaly avoid and blow my money chasing flush draws

Every shift at work in the staff canteen, pays out quite well though so i normally come out evens or on top.

Also when i'm in the pub i like to gamble but normally the ones in the pub are like 25p a go and thats a rip off if you ask me.

Only because he spends the money for my elderly cat's vets bills gambling on the fruitmachines, leaving me to sit in the corner sipping on a half a lime cordial. Every now and then he'll turn round to the bar to get change, flash me a tenner and saying "See that, that's the kidney transplant that is", or "She doesn't need two good eyes anyway". Cunt.
