Ok, I've done my searching here and nothing answers the question, all the responses to the question "Best movie site" all revolve around what was once before x264. Given that, we all know x264 is a very respecitble movie site, that, from the looks of it, isnt going to be coming back which prompts me to ask the question: What do YOU feel is the best/most reliable source for movies? (playable format preferably (ie .avi, .mp4, .mov etc etc not dvd images)) So I want to know what suits you guys best. This thread is opened to all opinions from all users, please no bashing others and no going off topic :)

Torrentleech imo... has got nice speeds and a lot of movies (i know there are bigger ones, but they're not easy to get in)

I'm wondering if x264.us will come back...

i would suggest emule:). all the movies can be found there, only the subtitles are hard to find sometimes. i havent found a really good torrent sites for movies yet (ive been to pisexy, but dont understand whats the fuss about).

OFF TOPIC

its quite unbelievable, but the subtitles at emule for the movie marble man from andrzew vajda contained a worm. why would somebody do that? thats the only reason i still have doubts about using poor animal.

GOEM is my new replacement for x264

haven't found a decent replacement for x264. ScT and a few other sites are starting to release some old movies, but it'd be nice to have a site that's just dedicated to serving up movies, rather than just be 0-day.

GOEM is looking promising, a few more members and it could be the new x264 :)

thanks for your replies, really appreciate all of them in my opinion goem doesnt seem too reliable i mean cmon only about ~150 torrents last time i check which was about 3 days ago before i deleted my account, but like i said all are entitled to their opinions and preferences, however what is this i hear about x264 coming back? they were supposed to come back awhile ago their servers been on and off they dont seem too reliable right now i wouldnt get your hopes up ;)

Don't give up on x264 yet. This is the latest posted on TPG yesterday:

getting very very close to being fully open :-D

the site is up and working, orpen for Staff, donor, vip, and Uploader testing. got a few bugs to be worked out before the doors are flung open.
But we are very close. Its great to see it up again. all the forums are there, all the user accounts, nothing got lost.

IRC ppl will be the first to know when its fully open, but ill come post at least in this thread when we are fully back :-)

If you are talking about xvid-encoded movies, ScT has been releasing a jaw-dropping amount lately in their "Good movie packs"- each contain something like 30 films (some old, some new, some in-between). There are 5 of these packs out now (or 4?)

I can post a screen if anyone is interested.

Those packs are taken from another tracker.

They've just arranged a little bit the movies.
