I dl Win XP Pro, but when I go to open it up, small dos screen comes up and then it makes a shortcut. Thats all. Cant do anything with prog or shortcut.
I was hoping to be able to use the Power Point from the xp. NE1 with ne ideas? Please Help!

A DOS screen popping up and disappearing again is a distinct trademark of fake files.

I'd also do a scan for Trojan's, as they seem to tag along with such files.

Burn as an image and boot from the CD-ROM. Make sure to burn at a slow rate.

Is it an .exe file?? If so, unzip it with winRAR and burn the unzipped files to CD. Voila!!
