i downloaded 50 minutes music live show (its legal) and i want to burn it and watch it in dvd
i want to make a menu that will give me the option to choose a song i want to see, instead of waiting 45 minutes until the song you want is on.
how to do that?
i own a dvd burner
its .avi file
it requires ffdshow codec (i have it so i can watch it on the computer but i dont know if i can watch it on dvd)
do i need to change it to mpeg file to view on dvd? ( i own a dvd burner)
Edit:
ANOTHER QUESTION
i the menu is almost ready with DIKO, all the buttons are ready, there is only one problem.
how can i tell the button that when i click on it, it will start the movie in 32:12 (not from the start)

You can use DIKO to convert the AVI to DVD, and it comes with DVD Styler built in, so you can make a menu for it too.

I'm currently using Nero 7 and its got some great menu templates you can download for free. only prob im finding is that sometimes when i convert a .avi film to a dvd it gets glitches and sometimes freezes occasionaly
Can anyone recommend a nice and easy good convertor or is it the way imburning them to dvd thats giving me the problems?

WinAVI
"http://www.winavi.com/en/video-converter/video-converter.htm"
OR
ConvertXToDVD 2
"http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/"
Both will convert to dvd and put chapter points in.
EDIT
after you have converted to dvd/mpeg2
Then use this if you want Your DVD to have main
menu and chapters.
This as its own menu templates and is easy.
