i looked at iso news... and there is a 4cd deviance copy out, so odds are its legit, but i wonder, why would torrents pull it? doesnt make much sense

Im not getting much speed from disc one at the mo but thats to be expected, it peaks at around 5kbps and im on broadband, bu t loads of sites are showing it so i imagine its real

I seem to remember there were no seeds on any of the discs on torrents.cx, so maybe they took it off until someone can seed it properly.

I'm currently getting really sadistic speeds on BIttorent. I'm getting about 3-4kb/sec download speed and uploading at 10kb/sec. I'm on 256k and I'm obviously giving people most of my bandwidth uploading than me downloading. Bittorent is getting worst and worst :( .

I'll try getting it off kazaa because I get much better download speeds of kazaa or probably off IRC. Can anyone list the different downloads that you can get either of kazaa or IRC?

one an experimental client that allows you to limit your uploads.

anyways...

I have seen the 4cd on kazaa lite, search for klite... however, I am almost betting they are all fakes... i searched once, and found 5 -10 people with each cd, two different file sizes for each one, but i noticed a few things peculiar.

1. The sizes didnt even come close to matching the deviance release... ie, similiar sizes, but the cds were split differently.
2. Every SINGLE user that had... was on a "anyusernamehere"@kazaa.... which seems very fishy, for one... no one with klite popped up, sounds biased, ya i know, but most of the big releasers, or people would get this first, ie, and post it on fastrack, odds are at least some, if not one of them would be using a client other then the base kazaa,dont cha think?

so... DO NOT download any off of fasttrack just yet, wait for verifieds, cuz i think theres a ton of fakes atm...

Ok guys, I&#39;ve posted the hashes in This Topic (http://www.klboard.ath.cx/bb/index.php?act=ST&f=34&t=33239&st=0&#entry229163)

They are the same files as mentioned earlier in this thread (only unrarred)

Fighting in this game kicks ass&#33; You can use guns, kicks, punches, throws and there&#39;s even a bullet-time&#33; Off-wall jumping, cartwheels while shooting, you name it&#33;

There are some drawbacks though. The story is pretty linear (like Max Payne for example) and it looks like it was a little bit rushed to coincide with the release of Reloaded (some clipping errors for example)
Furthermore you need a monster pc setup and 3.3 Gigs of HD space :wacko:

O, btw I recommend you watch Final Flight of the Osiris before you play this, because ETM starts after the events of Osiris

hmmm weird ive got the actual release for the xbox and the pc here and ive got no such clipping problems etc

however im only gonna keep the xbox version as i dont know if my poor pc can handle much more :lol:

but if anyone is interested i will get the xbox version ripped so that it can be played on a modded machine :P

yeah i love it ive only been playing it a little bit but im already in love :lol:

i think the fighting skills and stuff in it are absolutely amazing and i cant wait to go and see the film on friday

im looking into ripping it now, its really great cos i dont have to pay for these games i get unless i really like them and i want to keep them, (the joys of having friends who own and run a games shop) and then i get discount :P

Hmm I think I&#39;ll buy the game or something considering the fact it would take ages before I can download the 4 bins on a shitty ADSL connection like mine...

But, then again, if any found a nice good way to download this file with as less hassle as possible with max speeds, please post it here. Kazaa for one isn&#39;t a choice right now because I believe most of the files listed under Search are fakes and the sig2dats are too rare and they never find any sources. I cbf talking about BitTorrent, eMule or mirC they go at lousier rates than kazaa...

bah I wish I got a better connection. Just my luck Aus has a shitty and expensive broadband service on the whole :( .

Plenty of room for this game... :D

And yes, it still rox... beat the helicopter, down in the sewers now&#33;

i think im gonna get it for my PS2 i duno i only like some games on PC like first person shooters. i heard that u can hack stuff in the Console versions. but i duno if its justa rumor. also i heard that if u beat it that u get the first trailer from The Revolution. but again its only what i&#39;ve heard. it would be cool if its true

yes you will, but that is if you want the best graphics and everything. I don&#39;t know for sure but i wouldn&#39;t play it on anything slower than 1 ghz 256MB ram and at least a geforce 2, although this is being very leniant

just keep playin with it.. you&#39;ll figure it out.

without giving anything away for anyone else... when i hack a password file using the view command, it seems to work but nothing comes up.. meaning it makes a happy sound and leaves a blank line between fields but nothing there. Same when i try to play movie files. Is says "playing...done" but i don&#39;t get to see anything playing&#33;&#33; Is this the way it&#39;s supposed to be?

Razz you seem to be ahead of me.. what do you think? (feel free to pm me if it&#39;s too specific) :)

if u used read command and tried to read password.txt then u should have seen a text file with a pass in it, and the play command plays already unlocked movies for me no problem

did u download ur copy cos i mine is a retail version for the xbox and i u downloaded it it may be missing a few things :unsure:

okay, ive opened up a ton of commands, etc... got some digits that im supposed to crack at thematrix.com.... ??? looked around there, nothing seemed to be what i needed....

tried logining in with taht pass, etc, didnt work... what am i missing here... opened my b drive, etc, see alot of shit, that i can access, images, fmvs...

okay, i got onto the b drive, loaded the virtual, had to kill the traceroute, etc... but i cant see the movies, images, etc... is that cuz we have a downloaded copy, and thats why they took out? i heard retail was like 6 cds...???

i type the play b;&#092;xxxx&#092;xxx.fmv and it just says done... but nothing shows...
does it have something to do with comments i read in a text file about the b drive needing more room, or maintenance, or something?

i hope this isnt an issue of things being cut out of the retail release by deviance, for their pc release

awww, that sucks, oh well, cant bitch for it being free i guess...

btw, everyone get the patch, makes graphics, and shit run alot smoother on my ti4200 at least...

I can stand not watching the vid clips ect as long as they aren&#39;t giving you clues which they probably are.. If so maybe someone could post the hints that aren&#39;t included in the ripped version? a question regarding the .bin files..
is it better to use daemon tools on it or jus burn it to disc?
i understand the game take 3.34GB to install...so does it still require u to insert any of the cds?

Yes use Daemon Tools instead of burning the game. You will need all 4 CD&#39;s. Then go get the 1.52 patch and the 1.52 crack (from Megagames) and enjoy. Honestly, the game is pretty cool, i like all the combat moves, i wish they would fix multiplayer and let PC users take on AI controlled oponents in free for all or just relive movie fights.

To watch FMV&#39;s and view Images in the PC version (or at least the downloaded PC version) It&#39;s a hold over from the consoles, but you have to use the enter key on the little keyboard in the hacking part. You can type everything with your keyboard, but then arrow key over to the Enter and the default is Ctrl to press the key.

The game starts before the movie, and ends after it. It adds alot more to the storyline, and some stuff I&#39;ve seen alot of ppl posting theories on, is explained in the game.

I just tried it and it works&#33; You&#39;re the man Priest B)

The mouse thing doesn&#39;t work for me however.
What I do is type the command (e.g. &#39;play &#39;) followed by a space.
Then you should get a list in the bottom-left. Now use the arrow keys to go to the onscreen keyboard, select a file in the bottom-left and confirm with &#39;ctrl&#39;

Now, if they only had left the multiplayer in the PC-version...
