Hi all, When I set up my sons PC I put Nod32 on there like on mine no prob. Recently he informed me Nod wasn't working. So I went into Programmes/Eset/Nod32 Control centre and it gave me an error box saying it couldn't connect to the kernel. I uninstalled it and the Fix rebooted then reinstalled it and the fix and the same thing happened. Am I doing something wrong in the installation or something?
Help would be greatly appreciated. BTW I have tried to google this.

Have you tried a different NOD32 setup file, perhaps the one you are using is somehow corrupt and not installing correctly?

No I haven't tried that. Maybe that is the prob.
Well tried an install from a different copy of the prog on a different disc and the same happened.
I really don't know what's going on. It used to work fine.

Check if the nod32 kernel service is running:
start -> run -> type 'services.msc'
