Keeping Logged In

Hi people,

I seem to be having trouble staying logged in to klite board. I have it set up but each time I open the program it brings me in as a guest.

Now...I have installed a few new drivers...had horrible problems with net meeting and installed directx9 just before someone told me it was not a good idea, and thats about it.

Anyway something is afoot!

help please anyone??????? :(

You may want to check that your browser has cookies enabled. If you are using IE, go to tools> Itnternet options> Privacy, then adjust the privacy level. Good Luck.

Well...that didnt work....

I even specified Klite as allowing all cookies...and yet I went to check my traffic tab....and I have had to log in again!!!

It also took 2 attempts...the first time it said I was logged in...and then when I tried to Go to My Assistant it told me I wasn't and then I looked up and found I was back to guest!!

This is very very strange!

Now I have more problems....

Sometimes....not all the time....when I try surfing round the forum......I suddenly find that I am no longer logged on and cant access certain pages....

this is very very strange. I can then log on again....and its ok for a while.....

please...any more ideas?

Check your firewall-settings.(In Zapro :tab /privacy)
It could be you are running a progam that suppresses cookies?

I can't offer any new ideas. I haven't made any recent changes to system. But I still get some of the problems that you mentioned. Rarely I have trouble getting logged in. Staying logged in occassionaly is a problem when I cruise through the different worlds. Once in a while I go to post or veiw a post I am denied as not being logged in.

Overall it is a bit of a nuisance, but is so rare that I haven't worried about it.

Good luck sorting it out.

Look....If you go to the search page and type in 'staying logged in' you do not get that page with the tips about cookies...

And why oh why do people get so miffed if someone doesnt spend 3 weeks going through every damn mail

I mean, I looked pretty hard, but when you keep getting logged out, and stuff, surfing the board aint easy with the limitations on guests. so having to re-log gin in every time you change world, or refresh etc, etc, etc.
