Is there a conflict between this (2003, v6.0), Norton Personal Firewall 2003(v6.0.2.25) or Norton System Works 2003?
I recently installed NSW followed by NPF and just tried to install NIS and got the following error message:
"Previous Version Detected: NIS cannot be installed because you have an older variant of NIS on this computer. Uninstall the older version, restart your computer and run the installer again."
Problem is, this the first my cpu has seen of this program...
(I guess: in a search I found a couple of files in the LiveUpdate Downloads section similar to this:
norton$20internet$20security$20ids$20signatures_1.0_english_livetri)
Anyone know what's going on?

AFAIK, NIS and NPF are the same program, the only difference is that NIS has the parental control stuff (and i'm not sure but i think only NIS includes NAV 2003 with it)

What is AFAIK?
NIS is nearly 70 megs larger than NPF...Are you sure that it containing a copy of NAV 2003 is the only differnce? It seems to contain a lot of functions...
