been doing this puzzle for hours ....please someone give it a go and let me no how its done

I can't do it, because I can't turn sound on here (without a few raised eyebrows), but as far as I can make out:

1). You have to use the scarab buttons to bounce the big stone onto the "hook" on one of the pedestals.

2). Then you have to retrieve the stone from the "help" screen, and put it in the empty place on the top right-hand corner.

3). Then that stone will appear on the main screen, and you can bounce that into the other pedestal.

4). Then you have to rock the pedestals so that the stones inside the pedestals are closest to the middle.

5). (This is the bit I can't do). Wait for the mummy to knock, then as he does, click the blue scarab. The pedestals are supposed to fall over, and then an axe is supposed to appear.

6). Click the coloured scarabs in the order of the glyphs above the door, and timing them with the swish of the axe, or as the axe swings in front of the door.

7). Then, apparently, push the door to open it.

5). When the mummy knocks loudly and the pedestals start rocking, hit the blue scarab repeatedly until the pedestals fall down :01:

You're supposed to close the door on your way out, but... meh :idunno:

To close the door you gotta click on the red button 5 times or more while the axe is off the screen top left, and then click on the purple button 5 times or more while the axe is off the screen top right. :dabs:

I only know this by decompiling the flash.
