When installing the 43.45 drivers for my GeForce4 MX 420 on my Win2000 Pro system it says the drivers are not digitally signed by microsoft. It says that the drivers have not been tested with windows and I might experence problems with it. I installed the drivers anyway.

Now while playing Unreal Tournament or Counter-Strike sometimes my PC crashes. :( I don't know what to do! I use to have problems with my modem (which was also not signed), then I updated the drivers (signed), I havn't had problems ever since. Where can I get drivers for my GeForce4 that are signed?

Look for versions marked 'WHQL' form here: http://download.guru3d.com/detonator/

Not all upgrades are necessary.
In your case I'd just go back to latest working version.
(also recheck DirectX-files with diagnosetool).

Roll back your driver then. It's an option XP has just for cases like that.

OK. I installed the newest Dentonator drivers, the one marked 'WHQL.' I don't know what the hell happened, it restarted my PC and the only available settings were 16 colors, and 640x480!

I checked the drivers, it still said "Not digitally signed." WTF?
