I have found recently that I was getting a message about not being able to navigate a DVD structure, found out it was the new Sony protection system, pain in the butt, but i think i figured out a fairly fool proof method round it -

Get yourself a copy of Ripit4me, from that download fixVTS and a copy of DVD decryptor.

Run Ript4me, this calls up fixVTS, passes the deets over to decryptor and that should now rip the vob files out nicely, tun these through DVD shrink and bobs yer Auntie a backed up copy of your favorite new movies.

If people know this already sorry, just thought i would share as it took me a while to find it.

Question, do any of the DVD rippers rip at different quality settings or is it only in conversion when you lose quality? Thanks for the method though wisbeech.
