I have noticed that a lot of books in the top 10-bestsellerslist
contain pornographic content especially thrillers.
It seems nowadays to be a required component for a recipe of success. <_<
Most desciptions of various acts are gross and crude(unnescesarily so).

Worst novel I read was :American Psycho  and I regret having read that one.

I can't remember any of the titles, but an old girlfriend of mine had a bunch of those Victorian "erotic novels" that were actually written in the 1700-1800's I think. Very interesting stuff.

I remember reading Lady Chatterley's Lover by D H Lawrence, and for the life in me I can't understand why it was banned. I know it was written in 1928, but there was nothing too explicit in it.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned these yet:
Tales of 1001 nights
Histoire d'O
and for Curly :Marquis de Sade ;)

:o I've just read some reviews on that in Google.

Too shocking to repeat them here!
