Can DOS 6.22 run on P4 CPU ?
Mine hang during bootup.
Pls help :cry:

I don't think so. Why do you want the real DOS? Use the emulator

Are you trying to boot DOS6.22 from a floppy disk or a harddrive?
At a guess the main problem is that it does not support harddrives larger than 2GB. I seem to recall having to mess with sector translation mode in BIOS settings for drives larger than 512MB.
Also it does not support FAT32 or NTFS format partitions.

Its not a problem with the harddrive size. My DOS motherboard is faulty and I connect the harddrive to a P4 cpu. It hangs when booting up
I have some DOS program which needs to be run in DOS.
any help?

A boot disk may help if we knew the problem . I'v never heard of a Dos mobo tho .

DOS can boot up, but it just hangs at qemm startup
