What Do You Want? On A P2p Download Site?

Hi all,

First i have to tell that my newest website is already offline again due 2 reasons

1. there were a couple of script kiddies who thought it was fun to DDoS my site
2. the site was to heavy for the server behind it

but now i´m particly back and having some questions to you!

I´m now working on a website who´z going to support all file sharing
protocols (Kazaa/E-Donkey/etc) with files in all kind of catagories and
more...

But i was wondering what you want!

1. do you like to vote for a item?

3. do you like to see a banner? (if it´s not irritating)

4. do you like to see the amount of downloads of a item?

7. Do you mind popups for the good case?

the reason of these couple of questions is, that i like to
know what you want so i can create a site that´s made
for your pleasure and with the things most of you are
looking for

Suggestions for the site:
1) Has to be fast - one of the main demerits of just about all P2P quicklink sites is the high traffic and crappy server - try to do as much as possible to ensure fast browsing.
2) I think you should only support the FastTrack network - there are already tons of eDonkey sites, especially www.sharereactor.com i don't think there's need of another one - besides, it would really slow done the updates for the FastTrack section
3) Get some reliable staff - not many people are willing to work on stuff like this, but if you're a crew of less than 10 ppl, you're only going to have an average site. I am, for one, willing to help, but i sent you an eMail way long ago and got no reply... i think you should at least pay close attention to the eMails you get, as some may be useful.

That's about all for now, i could prolly come up with at least 10 more if i think about it for a while...

...Yes - Of course - such a site would be pretty useless without that option

...No - I kill most of em anyway, so it doesn't really bother me

...Yes - Why not

...Yes - Because then n00bs can be shouted at to do a f*****g SEARCH N00B!

I really couldn't care about another forum for hashes. Why work together to improve this forum instead? The only thing we need is a searchable database for the hashes, everything else has already been done. :huh:

Well why not a great website that also got a great database with verified downloads of multiple applications&#33;? and ofcource we can work together... that&#39;s realy no problem..

I thank you all for your answers and hope if you have suggestions you keep them posting so i can make the site you need/whant/whatever.
