ati's answer to the ill fated gforce 8 is just around the corner and is to be released around jan 22nd '07. should retail for about $640US and the link i've provided will show u that it's currently beating the 8800gtx in all benches (real time game benches) 'cept that of bf2. which is said i and believe a compatibility issue with said card or drivers. that said all benches have yet to even run the r600 card with optimized drivers. so, when those cum out the r600 will just be the top dawg of gpu's once again!

Whatever happened to the RD600 mobo? I never thought I would end up getting an nforce board when I bought my computer.

tell me about it. i was so looking forward to this board. it had such good potential, but i believe it was dropped. no official word on that, but it was supposed to be released 2 months ago and by only 1 manufacturer.. DFI. meh, the 680i/a series is looking nice, but just not what they have as of now. i will prob get an 680i board. lol, i need a new build and have been saying this for 6 months or so now, but every week it seems something new is coming out. 1.5 years ago the pc market was pretty steady and nothing new whatsoever. now, to much shit is cummin'. crazy. as of now it's 680i mb and i'm waiting on 2nd gen dx10 cards. 1st gen sux ballz. they perform good, but buggy and a rushed product. lol, i'll wait.
