I'm sure Im not the only one to have downloaded a good song to find out it has built in static to discourage sharing of the song, is there any fix for this, or work around?

Just like you i'm quite new to this board, so maybe there are some things I don't know, but the only solution I found was to download it again from another user and hope like hell it hasn't been tampered with...
After a while, there are people you know you can trust and try to download m

( I've just been cut out! ) Where was I? Yeah: there are people you know you can trust and you'll just have to download from them...

Look at the bitrate. Anything 128Kbps or greater should sound good.
(larger bitrate = more data = larger file size)

Different media players work better than others. The Kazaa mediaplayer just doesn't cut it. Try Windows mediaplayer, Winamp, Musicmatch, et al.
(wide selection at Download.com (http://download.com.com/3150-2139-0.html?tag=dir))

Read the FAQs and learn about using Sig2Dat for finding verified music files.

Hope that helps.
